Terms of Use

Effective 19 August 2026 · Applies to all versions of the TabFerry Chrome extension

1. Agreement

By installing or using TabFerry (“the extension”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install it, or uninstall it.

2. What TabFerry is

TabFerry is a free browser utility that copies your open browser tabs to the clipboard as text, and opens a list of URLs back into tabs. It runs entirely on your own computer.

3. Licence

TabFerry is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use. You may use it on as many devices as you like. You may not:

4. No warranty

TabFerry is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In particular, and stated plainly:

You are responsible for what you paste and open. TabFerry opens the URLs you give it, after showing them to you first.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or browser sessions, arising from your use of or inability to use TabFerry. Since TabFerry is provided free of charge, total liability is limited to zero.

6. Your data

TabFerry collects nothing. See the Privacy Policy. There is no account, no server, and no data transmission.

7. Availability and changes

The extension is distributed through the Chrome Web Store. The developer may update, change, or discontinue it at any time. Updates are delivered through the Chrome Web Store in the normal way. TabFerry will never open promotional tabs on install or update.

8. Free forever commitment

Every feature present in the version you install remains free in future versions. If a paid tier is ever introduced, it will consist of additional features. Nothing you have today will be taken away and sold back to you.

9. Third-party services

TabFerry uses no third-party services, SDKs, analytics, or advertising networks.

10. Termination

You may stop using TabFerry at any time by uninstalling it. Uninstalling removes its locally stored settings.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the developer's country of residence. Nothing here limits any statutory consumer right you have that cannot be waived.
